ELEANOR E. DUNCKER

ARTIST’S STATEMENT
“My painting philosophy is simple. I paint for the joy of the experience.  My subject matter depends on my mood and interests at the time.  I am equally enthusiastic painting serene landscapes, realistic or quirky still lifes, and energetic abstracts. My style tends to be impressionistic and bright in color.  I love to experiment with new techniques and prefer liquid mediums like watercolor, inks and dyes because of their spontaneity and flow.  They exhibit a mind of their own and continually challenge me in new directions.  Art is a journey for me and I eagerly anticipate whatever lies just beyond the next canvas.”
