RUTH JOHNSON

Ruth Johnson, a native of Long Island, paints mostly in watercolor medium.  She finds continual inspiration in the natural beauty of our island and especially enjoys “plein air” painting.  Ocean beaches, historical houses, fishing docks and gardens are among her favorite subjects. She hopes others, while viewing her paintings, will share her appreciation of what she has expressed.  She has studied in workshops with accomplished artists along the east coast and will always continue to learn.  Her watercolors are in private collections in New York, Pennsylvania and Long Island.
